Miscellaneous notes on the pterygot insects of Kato Mountains with illustrations their spring aspects (South East Turkey).

In this paper, faunistical, ecological, biological and ethological notes on the spring insects of Kato Moutains (South East Turkey) are given. Importance and difficulties of the Kato Mountains are briefly explained. Previous collections made by the authors are evaluated and their faunistical lists are given here for the first time. Stray notes on the excursions made in April to western slopes of Kato in Siirt Province are given with illustrations.
